Unfortunately, we live in an area that has very few nicely built cars running around, even fewer Volkswagens. When we come across those few, it gets us all giddy

Before the shoot, we sent the .:R over to Josh at WetDetail to polish off the embedded bugs and dead civics and mustangs (what else do we have around here?!).

Once Josh was finished, we picked her up and headed to our first location. The early morning sun lit the set perfectly.

After purchasing the car in 2007, Matt opted for a VF Engineering supercharger, installed by Mike at German Auto Tech in West Memphis, Ar.

A custom welded boser hood extension matched with a few light exterior changes and Bilstein PSS9 coilovers gives the aggressive look to match what you feel from the drivers seat.

At one time, this car could be seen a bit lower and with a nice set of aftermarket wheels and a slightly skinnier tire, but because of its daily driver status, Matt prefers the OEM 18″ OZ Aristo wheels.
Its definitely one thing to have a beast of a car, such as this; its another thing to drive it daily! Gotta show our love for the drivers out there.
