Water By The Bridge 2013

After being started as a small shop get together in 2005 by Grossman Tuning, Water by the Bridge 2009 marked the progress of the event as a whole. Wanting the show to be a place for Euro enthusiasts of all types, Grossman started to set up the show. After getting approval for one of the sickest places around, Water by the Bridge was set to be held at the gorgeous Waterfront Park in Louisville, Ky.
Each year, more people came. In 2012, about 200-250 cars showed up, but that’s nothing close to what 2013 had to offer. Apparently word had gotten out; Water by the Bridge was the place to be in 2013. After getting everyone in and parked, the staff was surprised. Nearly 400 cars had shown up, and not just from surrounding large cities. Many made the trek from far out of town, some even coming from Maryland, West Virginia, and North Carolina! With great weather, Water by the Bridge couldn’t have been any more perfect. The waterfront location helped keep the chill vibe of the event, as well as provided plenty of space to occupy the cars. Throughout the event, many people and photographers took advantage of the extra space, getting one on one time with their cars and cameras. While not the biggest or most known event, Water by the Bridge provides a unique opportunity to gather some of the sickest cars of the Midwest, while maintaining a grassroots feel. Going to the show is like hanging out with your friends at your local meet spot, and that’s exactly how it should feel.
